UNSC Resolution 2462 to Combat and Criminalize Terrorist Financing

  • The UN Security Council has adopted the Resolution 2462 that calls upon countries to prevent and counter the financing of terrorism, especially in its new forms.
  • The Resolution is significant considering the spate of terrorist attacks around the world like the Pulwama attack, the New Zealand and Sri Lankan attacks etc.
