UN World Happiness Report 2019
- On March 20, 2019 , UN World Happiness Report 2019 has been released by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network for the United Nations
- This is the seventh report and first report was released in 2012.
- March 20 was declared as World Happiness Day by the UN General Assembly in 2012.
- It ranks the world’s 156 countries onthe parameter “how happy their citizens perceive themselves to be.”
- India has been ranked at 140 in the 2019 report which is a drop of 7 ranks from 2018 when it was ranked at 134.
