National Digital Health Mission
- During the independence day speech from the ramparts of Red Fort, Prime Minister of India, announced the launch of National Digital Health Mission (NDHM).
- The mission envisages improving the efficiency, effectiveness and transparency of health service delivery by leveraging open digital systems and integrating current digital health services.
- The NDHM comes under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY)
- The National Health Authority (NHA) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will be the implementing authority of NDHM.
- The mission has been rolled out on pilot mode in six Union Territories namely Chandigarh, Ladakh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli ....
