IPCC’s 6th Assessment Report
On 9th August 2021, the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released the first part of its sixth Assessment Report (AR6) titled ‘Climate Change 2021: The Physical Science Basis’.
- Prepared by IPCC’s Working Group I, it is the first part of a series of reports. The remaining parts would be released next year.
- The report updates the scientific consensus and charts the future state of the climate since 2014 when the 5th Assessment Report was published.
