New Geo-spatial Applications Launched
On 17th August, 2021, Government of India launched three online applications developed by the Survey of India (SoI) and the National Atlas & Thematic Mapping Organisation (NATMO).
- The applications are SoI’s Geo Spatial Data Dissemination Portal, SoI’s Sarathi Web GIS application and Manchitran, the enterprise geo-portal of NATMO.
- With the launch of these applications, for the first time, the data collected by SoI and NATMO becomes freely and easily available to the citizens and organisations in India.
