11th Annual Meeting of FEMBoSA
Recently, the Election Commission of India (ECI) inaugurated the 11th Annual Meeting of the Forum of the Election Management Bodies of South Asia (FEMBoSA) for the year 2021.
Key Highlights
- The meeting was hosted by the Election Commission of Bhutan.
- Participating Countries: India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
- Theme: The theme of the meeting was ‘Use of Technology in Elections’.
- Chairmanship: The Election Commission of India handed over the chairmanship of FEMBoSA to the Election Commission of Bhutan for 2021-22.
