Alakh N. Sharma
- On 14th June 2026, the Government appointed noted economist Alakh N. Sharma as the Chairman of a High-Level Technical Expert Committee on Labour Statistics.
- The committee has been constituted to strengthen and periodically review labour market indicators in India.
