Answer: Minerals Security Partnership (MSP) is an ambitious US-led partnership of 11 countries to secure and strengthen supply chains of critical minerals such as Cobalt, Nickel, Lithium, and other rare earth minerals. However, India is not a part of this. Critical minerals are mineral resources which are essential input in the functioning of modern technologies, economies and national security. Thus, India not finding a place in MSP is a matter of concern as:
