Yellow Journalism
On 17th December, 2021, the Supreme Court declined relief to a journalist convicted and sentenced for publishing defamatory material against a lawyer, saying it was a case of “typical yellow journalism”.
What is Yellow Journalism?
- It is a way of publishing news in such a format that attracts a good number of readers with an aim to increase the circulation of the newspaper.
