Indian Navy Gets Advanced Electronic Warfare System ‘Shakti’
On 19th November, 2021, the Prime Minister handed over the Advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) System ‘Shakti’ to the Indian Navy at a ceremony held as part of Rashtra Raksha Samarpan Parv.
- He also handed over indigenously-built Light Combat Helicopter (designed and developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) and two small drones built by Indian start-ups to the Indian Air Force.

- Design and Development:It has been designed and developed by Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), Hyderabad, which is under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
