India-Bahrain: Ties Strengthen as India Reaffirms Support for Gaza Peace Plan
On 3rd November 2025, India reiterated its support for the U.S.-led Gaza Peace Plan during the visit of Bahrain’s Foreign Minister, marking a renewed phase of diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
Key Areas of Cooperation Discussed
- Counterterrorism: India and Bahrain condemned terrorism “in all its forms and manifestations,” reaffirming their commitment to combat cross-border terrorism and strengthen security coordination.
- Trade and Economic Partnership: Bahrain acknowledged India as one of its top five trading partners. Both sides reviewed progress toward launching negotiations for a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
