Star Engulfs Jupiter-Sized Planet
Recently, a team of scientists, led by Indian researcher from MIT, has observed a star engulfing a Jupiter-sized planet near the Aquila constellation, 12,000 light-years away from Earth.
- The event was first detected in May 2020, and the confirmation of the planet's demise came from a joint study involving researchers from various institutions.
