Answer: On 11 May 2025, Defence Minister of India, virtually inaugurated the BrahMos Aerospace Integration and Testing Facility in Lucknow. This facility will not only strengthen Uttar Pradesh’s defense manufacturing capabilities but will also serve as a significant step toward enhancing India’s defense exports and technological self-reliance.
- This facility in Uttar Pradesh was completed in three and a half years, with its foundation laid on December 26, 2021. It is the largest BrahMos missile production facility in India.
