Aceclofenac
Aceclofenac is a veterinary painkiller.
- Utility: It metabolises into diclofenac in water buffaloes and cows which eventually threatens vulture populations in the country.
- Diclofenac is an anti-inflammatory drug which was banned in 2006 as it was the main cause of dramatic decline (99 per cent) of vulture population across Asia.
