Olive Ridley turtles, also known as arribadas, are a species that is well-known throughout the world for its coordinated nesting behaviour. This year's Olive Ridley turtle breeding season began in February, a month sooner than it did the year before.
- About Olive Ridley Turtle: They are the second-smallest and most prevalent species of sea turtle in the world, and they are mostly found in the warm, tropical waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) has categorised Olive Ridley turtles as vulnerable despite their widespread distribution because of the growing threat to their ecosystems.
