Global Debt Report 2025
On 20th March 2025, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) published the second edition of the Global Debt Report.
- The report analyses the latest trends in global sovereign and corporate debt markets through to the end of 2024.
- It also examines sovereign lending in emerging markets and developing economies and assesses how debt markets could help finance the climate transition.

- Sovereign and Corporate Borrowings: Both sovereign and corporate borrowings continued to rise in 2024 and are expected to rise further in 2025.
