Sustainable Lifestyles and Global Environmental Partnerships
Sustainable lifestyles refer to ways of living that minimize environmental degradation—through reduced resource consumption, lower emissions, responsible waste management—while ensuring social equity and quality of life. This was in news as India’s resolution on “promoting sustainable lifestyles for the wise use of wetlands”, under its Mission LiFE initiative, was recently adopted at COP15 of the Ramsar Convention.

- At the UN COP16 biodiversity, the “World Coalition for Peace with Nature: A call for Life” was launched. It will be voluntary and open to countries that agree to a set of principles aimed at changing humanity’s relationship with nature.
