Quantum cryptography refers to the science of using quantum mechanical properties to perform cryptographic tasks.
The QuIC lab at Raman Research Institute (RRI) has come up with an end-to-end simulation toolkit named as “qkdSim” that enables Quantum Key Distribution Protocol (QKD).It will ensure safety in quantum communication platforms.
Under the RRI-ISRO project on “Quantum Experiments using Satellite Technology”, the QuIC lab has achieved the first successful implementation of a highly secure efficient Quantum Cryptographic scheme for an end to end free space QKD.
