It was published by Sustainable Development Solutions Network in the Sustainable Development Report 2021.
The 2021 Sustainable Development Index was topped by Finland (85.9), Sweden (85.6) and Denmark (84.9). India was ranked at 120th out of 165 countries with a score of 60.1.
Spillover Index
This year, the report also included a Spillover index, which measures the positive and negative effects of a country’s actions on other country’s abilities in achieving SDGs. Higher Score reflects more positive and lesser negative spillover effects.
The Spillover index was topped by Myanmar, Sudan and Somalia whereas India was ranked at 32 with a score of 98.9.
