An easy to use mobile app ‘ARUN’ launched for the promotion of solar rooftop systems and assistance of installations of solar rooftop systems.
This App will be useful for layman or an agency for installation of Solar Rooftop in their premises. The App is developed by National Informatics Centre (NIC), Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
This mobile application is a simple guide for solar rooftop system and the prevailing subsidies and related policies of the country. It also provides a calculator for calculating the cost of installation of rooftop systems based on some parameters and provision for submitting the installation request to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. The app will also provide a list of all approved agencies of the Ministry.
