Smart Freight Operation Optimization & Real Time Information (SFOORTI)

In a major digital initiative to help plan the traffic flows and optimize freight operations, Ministry of Railways have launched Smart Freight Operation Optimisation & Real Time Information (SFOORTI) App for Freight Managers which provides features for monitoring and managing freight business using Geographic Information System (GIS) Views and Dashboard.

• In the digital present world, such initiatives are essential for the real time data information for the convenience of passengers. But the major issue is the application implementation and their database management with real time tracking of several trains on tracks. It is required that dedicated staffs must be provided and user friendly platform should be given so that the users should not face problems.
