  • Prime Minister participated in the annual summit of G 20 ‘Heads of the Government’ held on 29 June 2019 at Osaka Prefecture, Osaka, Japan.

Highlights of the meeting

  • Nineteen G-20 members apart from the US recommitted themselves to Paris climate deal.
  • The US and China reached a rapprochement with the US declaring no further imposition of new tariffs on Chinese goods.
