India’s First Snow Leopard Conservation Centre

  • Uttarakhand is all set to develop India’s first Snow Leopard Conservation Centre in Uttarkashi forests.
  • It will be built at the entry point of Gangotri National Park above 2800 meters sea level.

  • The centre will be developed by the Uttarakhand forest department along with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Netherland.
