On 20th August, 2021, Narayankoti temple of Uttarakhand has been included under the ‘Adopt a Heritage’ project of the central government.
About Narayankoti Temple
- It is a group of ancient temples located about two kilometers from Guptkashi on the Rudraprayag-Gaurikund highway.
- These temples are dedicated to Lakshmi Narayana which is associated with Pandavas.
- This is the only place in the country which has nine planetary temples in a group that are a "symbol of nine planets".
