Significance
- Natural and Mineral Resources: The majority of minerals, including coal, oil, gas, uranium, gold, lead, zinc, iron ore, tin, copper, manganese, etc., are abundant in these nations in commercially feasible quantities. The hydel resources in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are immense. Thus, the area can support India's efforts to secure its energy supply.
- Geostrategic: In the past, Central Asia has served as a "great game" arena. Even now, the contemporary version is being performed. Significant economic and security interests in the region are shared by Russia, China, the United States, Turkey, Iran, Europe, the European Union, Japan, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. ....
