Assam International Skill Centre
- Recently, the Assam Cabinet gave the green light for the establishment of the Assam International Skill Centre (AISC) to boost global employment opportunities for the state’s workforce.
- Designed to create more opportunities for skilled and semi-skilled workers from Assam, AISC aims to connect the state’s workforce with international job markets through ethical and organised pathways.
- AISC will operate on a Hub-and-Spoke Model, with its primary hub in Guwahati and additional centres across the state.
