India to Chair 68th UN Drug Commission
On 6th December 2024, India assumed the Chairmanship of the 68th Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND), marking a significant milestone in global leadership on drug policy matters.
- This is the first time India has been appointed to lead the Commission on Narcotic Drugs, reflecting its growing influence in global multilateral mechanisms.
