Badminton Asia Championships
- Indian pair of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy won the men’s doubles title, defeating eighth-seeded Malaysian pair Teo Ee Yi and Ong Yew Sin in the final.
- They became the first Indian badminton players to win in a final at the continental badminton championships since Dinesh Khanna won the men's singles gold medal back in 1965.
