Constitution Released in Sindhi Language
On 10th April 2026, the Vice President of India released the Sindhi version of the Constitution of India in both Devanagari and Persian scripts in New Delhi.
- The Constitution in Sindhi has been published in two scripts - the Devanagari script (first edition) and the Persian script (second edition).
- The release coincided with Sindhi Bhasha Diwas, celebrating the Sindhi language and culture.
- This marks the first time the Constitution has been made available in Sindhi in the Devanagari script since Independence.
- The initiative aims to promote linguistic inclusivity and improve access to constitutional knowledge.
