'Watan Ko Jano’ Programme
Recently, a 250-member youth delegation from Jammu and Kashmir met the Vice President at the Uprashtrapati Bhavan under the ‘Watan Ko Jano’ programme.
- The initiative aims to provide young people from the region with exposure to the cultural diversity and socio-economic development taking place across different parts of India.
- It focuses particularly on youth and children who have been affected by militancy, as well as those belonging to economically weaker sections of society, helping them broaden their perspectives and build confidence.
