- Higher Education Growth: Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) increased from 51,534 (2014-15) to 70,018 (June 2025). Premier institutions now include 23 IITs, 21 IIMs, and 20 AIIMS, with international IIT campuses in Zanzibar and Abu Dhabi.
- National Education Policy (NEP) Reforms: 170 universities adopted the National Credit Framework; Academic Bank of Credit covers 2,660 institutions with 4.6 crore IDs (2.2 crore APAAR IDs generated). ....
