Perovskite Solar Cells
Recently, a team of Indian scientists identified co-dopants that can increase the photovoltaic performance of transparent metal oxides such as Zinc oxide (ZnO), Indium oxide (In2O3) and Tin oxide (SnO2), thereby creating potential for more efficient, better performing and more stable solar cells.
- Doping is the practice of introducing very small amounts of certain foreign atoms into the crystal lattice of a semiconductor to modify its electrical properties. These foreign atoms are referred to as dopants.
