- The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has been working towards creating an inclusive and equitable society for all its citizens with its flagship Atal Vayo Abhyuday Yojana (AVYAY).
- AVYAY is a Central Sector Scheme, which was formerly known as National Action Plan for Senior Citizens.
