Operation Digital Board (ODB)

It was launched in 2019 with the aim to leverage technology to boost quality education in the country. It will achieve its aim via converting class rooms into a digital class rooms in addition to availability of e-resources at any time and at any place to students; it will also help in provisioning of personalized adaptive learning as well as Intelligent Tutoring by exploiting emerging technologies like Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics. An expert committee has worked out optimum configuration of the Digital Class Rooms under ODB.

• The state of digital literacy and quality education in country’s educational institutions mainly in elementary/primary schools is worrying.Such initiatives would be helpful in ensuring quality education and making children/students habitual or adaptive of technologies, making them employable.
