‘Grameeno Ki Aas, MGNREGA se Vikas’

  • In order to accelerate the slow progress of MGNREGA in Jharkhand, the Rural Development Department has initiated a special campaign named “Grameeno Ki Aas, MGNREGA se Vikas”.
  • This special campaign was launched on 22 September 2021 and run till December 15.
  • Aim: To increase the employment of ST-SC and women by 10 percent under MGNREGA scheme in the identified 150 blocks and 2518 Gram panchayats of the state.
  • Under this campaign, which will last for about three months, employment will be provided for 100 days by coordinating with the people at the Panchayat level.
