Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Award 2021
On 3rd October 2021, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu conferred Assam Government’s biennial Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Award for National Integration and National Contribution at a special function in Guwahati.The award carries Rs 5 lakh, a citation and an angabastram.
Three Winners
- Assam Branch of Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust: Since January 9, 1946, when Gandhiji visited Assam and got the Trust set up in Guwahati, the Assam branch of Kasturba Gandhi National Memorial Trust has been working for rural women and children.
