Green Hydrogen Certification Portal of India
On 17th June 2026, the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) launched the Green Hydrogen Certification Portal of India.
- Developed by MNRE, the portal will facilitate transparent certification and regulatory compliance under the Green Hydrogen Certification Scheme of India.

- Verifies whether hydrogen production complies with India's green hydrogen standards and prescribed emission thresholds.
Regulatory Compliance
- Enables producers to fulfil requirements under the Green Hydrogen Certification Scheme.

- Establishes a standardised framework for monitoring, reporting, and verification of green hydrogen production.
