Report on Emergency Care at Secondary, Tertiary Level Centers
On 26th December, 2021, NITI Aayog released comprehensive report on current status on Country level- secondary and tertiary level emergency and injury care in India.
- The purpose of the report is to identify the gaps in emergency and injury care systems in healthcare facilities as well as to find out the linkages between the pre-hospital care and facility-based care system in our country.

- Emergency and injury cases annually accounted for 9-13% of all patients presenting to a health facility and 19-24% of admissions in Govt. Hospitals and 31-39% admissions in Private Hospitals.
