On 5th December 2025, NITI Aayog’s Frontier Tech Hub released a Roadmap on Transforming India into a leading Quantum-Powered Economy.
- The roadmap underscores the increasing global importance of quantum technology across key sectors like healthcare, finance, logistics, energy, national security, and advanced computing.

Vision for 2035
- The roadmap envisions India emerging as one of the top three global quantum economies by 2035, with more than ten quantum startups achieving revenues above USD 100 million and India capturing over 50 percent of the global quantum software market.
