Dag Hammarskjold Medal

  • Two Indian peacekeepers (Brigadier General Amitabh Jha and Havildar Sanjay Singh) who lost their lives while serving under the UN flag last year were honoured posthumously with the Dag Hammarskjold medal on International Day of UN Peacekeepers (29th May).
