India’s First Mega Greenfield Shipyard
Recently, India signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development of its first Mega Greenfield Shipyard at Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
- It marks major step towards achieving the Maritime Amrit Kaal Vision 2047 and strengthening the country’s global shipbuilding ambitions.

- Tripartite Agreement: A MoU was exchanged between HD KSOE (South Korea), NSHIP-TN (a joint venture of V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority and SIPCOT), and Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW).
