India and Italy Expand Bilateral Cooperation
On 12th April 2025, India and Italy reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors under the Joint Strategic Action Plan (JSAP) 2025–29, during a high-level visit by Italian Deputy PM Antonio Tajani to India.

- JSAP 2025–29 Framework: Both sides agreed to work closely under this roadmap covering trade, defence, clean energy, AI, digital tech, mobility, and more.
- IMEEC Participation: Italy reiterated its support for the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor, appointing a special envoy to the project.
