On 28th January 2026, NITI Aayog launched ‘Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0’.
Key Points
- Duration: It is a 3-month campaign, running from 28th January to 14th April 2026.
- Aim: To achieve saturation of 5 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Aspirational Districts and 6 Key Performance Indicators in Aspirational Blocks across the country.
Aspirational Blocks (6 KPIs)
- Percentage of children from 6 months to 6 years taking Supplementary Nutrition under the ICDS programme regularly.
- Measurement efficiency of children enrolled at Anganwadi Centres during the reporting month.
- Percentage of operational Anganwadi Centres with functional toilets.
- Percentage of operational Anganwadi Centres with drinking water facilities.
