Foreign Trade Policy 2023
On 31st March, 2023, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry launched the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, which came into effect from April 1, 2023.
- FTP 2015-20 which was to end on 31.3.2020 was extended due to COVID pandemic and volatile geo-political scenario till March 31, 2023.
- The Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023 is notified by Central Government, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) [FT (D&R) Act], as amended.
