Exercise Lamitiye 2026
- The 11th edition of the India-Seychelles joint military exercise “Lamitiye 2026” was conducted from 9 to 20 March 2026 in Seychelles.
- It is hosted at the Seychelles Defence Academy.
- “Lamitiye” means “friendship” in the Creole language.
- The exercise is a biennial military training programme held since 2001.
