47th Sarala Puraskar

  • On 21st August 2026, Odia poet and essayist Ashutosh Parida was selected for the 47th Sarala Puraskar.
  • He will receive the award for his poetry collection Bishwas De Pruthwi.
  • The award carries a cash prize of ₹7 lakh, a citation and a copper plaque.
  • The award ceremony will be held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on 25th October 2026.
  • Sarala Puraskar recognises outstanding works in Odia literature.
  • It is presented by Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust (IMPaCT), the charitable arm of IMFA.
