  • POWERGRID is a Maharatna public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Power.
  • The award was presented by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on 14th August 2026.
  • The ceremony was held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, during Independence Day celebrations.
  • POWERGRID joined the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) as a pan-India partner.
  • PMIS was launched in December 2024 to provide industry internship opportunities to young people.
