World Boxing Championship 2025

On 13 September 2025, Indian boxer Jasmine Lamboria won the prestigious Featherweight title by defeating Julia Seremeta of Poland, a silver medalist at the Paris Olympics.

  • Jasmine became the ninth Indian boxer to win a World Championship title.
  • The championship was held in Liverpool, UK.
  • India won a total of 4 medals:
    • Gold: Jasmine Lamboria (57 kg), Meenakshi (48 kg)
    • Silver: Nupur Shouran
    • Bronze: Pooja Rani
  • Kazakhstan topped the medal ....
