Samagra Shishu Bal Swasthya Karyakram
Recently, in a significant step towards strengthening newborn and child healthcare services across the country, Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare launched the Samagra Shishu Bal Swasthya Karyakram (SSBSK).
What is SSBSK?
- Home & Community-based Healthcare: It is a unified national programme that provides integrated home and community-based healthcare for every child from birth to 36 months of age.
- Aim: The programme aims to strengthen child survival, nutrition, healthy growth and early childhood development through an integrated approach for children from birth to 36 months.
- Vision: “पहले तीन साल सम्पूर्ण देखभाल” (Comprehensive Care During the First Three Years).
