It is a centrally sponsored scheme, which aims at computerization of land records & registration to strengthen revenue administration.
The biggest hurdle in making effective policies is lack of information/data; policies like this would help in making effective and relevant policies (due to proper knowledge of ground realities) which on implementation would be successful.
